Translate your website professionally with Translated By Us
WordPress

Your website is your digital business card. This is where new potential customers decide whether they want to purchase a service from you or move on to one of your competitors. Your website should therefore be available in your customers' native language. And that's where we come in. Translated By Us specialises in website translation.
We can process the translation of web texts in several ways: as XML files, via links to the website or via an integration such as WordPress' WPML. Automating the process via an integration has the advantage that you will not need to copy and paste the translated text manually onto your website. How much does a website translation cost?
When you order website translation with us, we calculate the price with a fixed, low rate starting at EUR 0.16 per word. The price includes translation, proofreading and quality assurance by three linguists: a native translator, a proofreader and a project manager.
We are always open to discussing price and quality. Just to be clear – we always aim to deliver high quality translations. However, if you sell inexpensive products to the price-conscious consumer, a professionally proofread machine translation or a translation without additional proofreading may be sufficient for your needs. In any case, there are different options available for adjusting the price to suit your needs. Give us a call at +45 71 96 96 67 or send us an email at info@translatedbyus.com and we'll find a solution that matches your budget and expectations.
Translate your website with our proven solutions and expertise
Are you planning to take your business abroad and into a new market? Then you would be wise to translate your website into the local language. Studies show that we are more likely to buy a product if it is described in our own language. In other words, a website that is translated and localised into your customers' native language increases trust and builds confidence in you and your business.
Furthermore, a local presence improves your Google ranking, increases customer dwell time and positively affects conversion rates (i.e. the ratio of visits to sales).
If you work with a web developer, we’re happy to collaborate with them and include them in the process. We are used to working with other specialised agencies and can take charge of the entire project so you can concentrate on other tasks. If you don't have a web developer, we're happy to take care of the whole job – including the technical processes of importing and exporting the text from your website. We’ve translated a lot of websites, so there's nothing we haven't seen before. If we run into a problem, we solve it.
How we handle continuous website updates
If you frequently update your website, we recommend that you implement an integration between your website and Us as your translation agency. An integration will save you both time and money on website administration, and with continuous updates in all languages, your content will always be relevant and up-to-date.
That’s something Google recognises and rewards in its search results. Implementing an integration is no longer an extensive, expensive operation. It’s a rather small investment that can eliminate about 90% of your administration.
We offer integration for DKK 99/month for the following platforms:
- Adobe CQ/AEM
- DNN CMS
- Drupal
- EpiServer
- Sitecore
- Umbraco
- WordPress Multilanguage

Important considerations before we translate your website
Are there any pages we shouldn't translate?
Is the price higher than you expected? Then you should consider where there's anything we should leave out. When we export your website via an integration (e.g. WPML), all text is initially included.
Should the text be SEO-optimised?
We naturally incorporate relevant keywords into the translation. However, it's still a good idea to structure the process with a thorough preliminary keyword analysis, just to be sure that the translation will match the search terms your target audience uses to find the products and services you sell.
Are you happy with the source text?
It's not uncommon to find linguistic errors and outdated information in a source text. So you might consider letting us proofread the source text first.
Does anything need localisation?
There is probably some content that needs to be localised to the target language (names of places, currency, links, etc.). We take this into account during the translation process and will ask if we have any doubts, but you may want to consider whether there is anything you don't want translated before we start translating the website.

Translate and localise your website
Many companies choose the low-cost and "easy" option, but if you simply launch an English version of your website in a new market, you risk losing a large portion of local customers,
as not everyone has the skill or will to read a website available only in English. Visiting a website translated into their native language gives many people peace of mind. The right language choice can therefore be crucial to your conversion rate.
In countries like Italy, Spain, Thailand and Germany, English is not widely spoken – especially among the older generations. So think carefully about your target customer segment. If you want to expand into a new market, a website available only in English may cost you a significant number of potential customers.
Furthermore, many of the world's major languages, such as German, French and English, come in multiple variants. These variants can differ significantly in terms of grammar, vocabulary and cultural references. Marketing your products in the wrong variant may not go over well with the locals. Therefore, it may not be sufficient having, for example, one Spanish website for both the Spanish and Latin American markets. Instead, your website should be available in both a Spanish and a Latin American Spanish version.
This doesn't have to be an expensive affair. If your website has already been translated into Spanish, we can simply adapt the existing text to the local variant.
Frequently asked questions
While this is theoretically possible, most systems include the ability to export the text. This usually streamlines the process, producing an optimal result and using fewer resources. If that’s not possible, we would of course be happy to log in to your system and translate your texts from within.
Ja, intet problem og rigtig god idé. Vi kan sende teksten til jer til intern gennemgang, inden vi lægger alting op.

Yes, we work with state-of-the-art translation software that automatically hides the code text (e.g. HTML) from our translators. And you can rest assured that it will never be included in the wordcount used to calculate the price.
