Ordering a translation
Ordering translations of your texts is quick, easy and simple at Translated By Us. You can find a brief overview of the various options for ordering translations below.
Self-service – Order a translation
Translation is complicated, but we've made it easy for you.

4 steps to your translation:
1) Select product.
First, select your product. You can choose from the following 3 products: Basic translation, Business translation and Advanced translation.
Basic translation:
Choose Basic translation if your text is simple and straightforward.
Business translation:
Choose Business translation if your text has been professionally prepared.
Advanced translation:
Choose Advanced translation if your translation task is complex and would benefit from a conversation with one of our project managers.
2) Select language
Then select source and target language(s).
Under “From” you will only be able to select one language. You must select the language in which the text is written.
Under “To” you can choose to translate into one or more languages.
The most common languages are displayed first. Select a language by clicking on it. If you cannot see the language you wish to select, simply start typing the language – there is no need to scroll through all the options.
3) Enter or upload text
Give your project a name. Then upload the files to be translated or enter your text directly into the webform.
4) Contact information
Enter your name and email address.
Add a comment if necessary.
Useful comments can include e.g.:
- Desired delivery date for the translation.
- Desired tone of voice for the translation, e.g. formal, casual, personal.
- Special terms to be used in the translation.
You can view your order by selecting “Your order” in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
Click “Order translation” or “Order now”.
Now you can select your preferred payment method.
Pay for your translation right away by credit card, or request an invoice and pay later.
If you have chosen “Advanced translation”, it will not be possible to pay for your translation right away. You’ll receive a quote after we have assessed your project.
